K-pop girl group OH MY GIRL will be dishing out a new album next month, says their agency, WM Entertainment. Earlier today, 7th February, South Korean news outlet, SPOTV News, reported that the seven-member girl group were currently readying themselves for a comeback in March. Later their agency, WME, proved the news to be facts.
The yet-to-be-named project is the the girl group’s first domestic release in ten months, since their previous release, ‘Dear OHMYGIRL’, which dropped last May. That release featured the single ‘Dun Dun Dance’, which went on to land the act their first Number One hit on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.
That record had been the follow-up to their seventh mini-album ‘Nonstop’ and their breakout hit that bore the same title. That had been the group’s biggest song prior to ‘Dun Dun Dance’. The mini-album also spawned a successful B-side track named ‘Dolphin’, and up it went until it reached number nine on the Gaon Digital Chart.
“OH MY GIRL are scheduled to return with a new album in March,” WM Entertainment said in a statement addressed to Newsen. Further details on the upcoming release are yet to see the light of day, but are expected in the coming weeks.
