Justin Bieber brought surprise and joy to festival-goers to an impromptu performance.
The popstar joined his buddy, Daniel Caesar, on stage on Friday for a surprise performance on the first day of Coachella 2022, which is the event’s comeback after two whole years owing to the COVID-19 situation. As an added treat, Bieber went topless, leaving him in a backwards Phillies baseball cap and baggy jeans that displayed the waistband of his Calvin Klein briefs.
He and Caesar delivered their chart-topping collaborative single, “Peaches”, off Bieber’s sixth studio album, Justice. The track later bagged four Grammy nominations, including song of the year. Although Giveon, who is also a guest feature on the record did not join the duo on stage, but he did perform the next day of the annual fest.
“Give it up for my friend Justin Bieber, man!” Caesar told the cheering audience as they brought the special performance to an end.
Bieber’s surprise appearance comes while he is still on his Justice world tour, after recovering from a COVID-19 diagnosis that forced him to postpone his Las Vegas concert date back in February. The Biebs also most-recently showed up to the 64th Grammy Awards earlier this month with wife, Hailey Bieber.
