I feel envy and sorrow for those who can't relate to this album, it's pure poetry. Mother I sober gives me chills, a breath of fresh air and a level of vulnerability that few are willing to go. So many parallels to my own life and this album that it's more than just validation, it feels very much like redemption. Thank you Kendrick you may not be my savior but your words help me save myself.

Some of these reviews are blowing my mind…you can’t expect everyone’s newest album to top all of their previous albums, that’s ridiculous. The truth is that Kendrick is by far one of the top if not the top rapper of this time and it would be extremely hard for him to top all his previous work with each new release. It just proves the point when people are saying “it’s bad” compared to his older albums. BTW my favorites from this album are Savior, Mr Morale, N95, and Rich Spirit - with savior being one of my favorite songs from him of all time.

This album is raw and masterful, it is really beyond anything anyone has done. The people who does not like it, your entitled to your own opinion but the negative comments are not necessary, lift this man up for making music he loves! Your more than welcome to make your own album to add to iTunes and try to accomplish what Kendrick has done. Let us know how that works out for you.
