What an awesome idea from the kids at VICE. Record and Release is a unique proposition for bands and fans alike. Across the week an eclectic cast of bands will visit Racing Club Lane to play live in a pop-up recording studio. Each recording will be mixed, mastered, pressed and packaged as a free, limited edition CD to be launched at the Buffalo Club just 24hrs later.

Black Sabbath have announced on their Facebook page that the only one scheduled show for summer will be played by Black Sabbath. It will be the Download Festival on June 10th. Ozzy Osbourne will now perform the majority of the previously scheduled Black Sabbath shows.
