Foo Fighter, Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age have morphed.Them Crooked Vultures made their live debut in Chicago last night.
The superband, made up of Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, played a midnight gig at the city's Metro venue.
According to The Chicago Tribune, Grohl played drums, Homme took the guitar and vocals, while Jones was on bass and keyboards.
Their debut album, songs from which they played last night, is due to for release this autumn, according to reports.

Earlier the venue had confirmed that the gig kicked off by posting a marquee sign boasting Them Crooked Vultures as the sold-out show was about to start.
