Stores across Australia have put the Eminem `Relapse` album on sale early ahead of the official worldwide release date next Monday (May 18).

Universal shipped ‘Relapse’ to stores yesterday and most recieved it instore today (May 15).

A survey by Undercover has found that the album is now readily available fromvarious Sanity, JB Hi-Fi and Leading Edge stores. The combined group controls more than 400 retail stores across Australia.

The Eminem ‘Relapse’ album was put under cloak and dagger security by Universal worldwide, but despite managed to make its way onto bit torrent sites a week ago.

Eminem himself “leaked” various tracks from the album via his website, YouTube and social networking sites.

The early release of ‘Relapse’ will make for an interesting chart week. Green Day’s long-awaited ‘21st Century Breakdown’ also went on sale today making for a great showdown for the number one spot 10 days from now.
