HOODOO GURUS WILL HEADLINE THE "ROCK & ROLL" VERSION OF DAY ON THE GREEN

By Sally Bailey
Thu, 09 Aug 2012 12:01:31 +1000

Joining The Hoodoo Gurus will be The Angels, Baby Animals, James Reyne and Boom Crash Opera.

The legendary Gurus are one of Australia's greatest, most loved and enduring bands and they've got the accolades to prove it. Dave Gleeson of Screaming Jets fame will front the Angels who are still hanging in there sans Doc Neeson and will release their new album this month. The Baby Animals are back in the studio and ready to rock live. James Reyne will be there with bells on and will hopefully mix it up with some ye olde but goodie stuff from Oz Crawl along with new stuff from his latest album "Thirteen". "Ohh ohhh onion skin" ...may be one of the most tedious hits of the late eighties/early nineties but you can bet yer car, Boom Crash Opera will be draggin' it out for A Day on The Green.

A Day on The Green is a fully licensed event. Strictly no BYO alcohol. Food will be available on site or BYO picnic. Deck chairs and picnic rugs are recommended. For all event, transport and accommodation information,go to www.adayonthegreen.com.au.
