Recently signed to ABC's Four Four label, Boy In A Box are jumping in head first with the release of their brand new single "On My Mind" from their brand new E.P of the same title.
The particular single you are about to listen to was mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party, Hot Hot Heat). The 4 track EP "On My Mind" was recorded at Birdland Studios by iconic Melbourne producer Lindsay Gravina (Adalita, Rowland S Howard, The Living End) and will be released Friday 6th July.
This song reminds me of something you would have heard in the halcyon days of "The Sando" in King Street Newtown NSW, on a Sunday arvo with plenty of beers and legendary neighbourhood musicians serving up tasty riff after tasty riff in great rock n roll in bands like Spurs for Jesus and Shaggin Wagon. Ah, this single takes me back. Love it.
