Nick Drake tribute concert Way To Blue will hit the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne’s Recital Centre in November.
The hit UK show Way To Blue: The Songs Of Nick Drake is set to come to Australia, with an eclectic selection of musicians paying tribute to the massively-influential English songwriter.
Artists interpreting his songs include Vashti Bunyan, Scritti Politti front-man Green Gartside, psychedelic pop star Robyn Hitchcock, Irish singer Lisa Hannigan, American soul singer Krystle Warren, and UK artist Scott Matthews.
There will also be Australian performers added for the local production of the concert, which is curated by Drake’s original producer Joe Boyd.
The shows will take place at the Sydney Opera House on November 11 and the Melbourne Recital Centre on November 14 and 15.
