Darlene Love, Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper For Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame

After 50 years in the business Darlene Love will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Tom Waits and Dr. John next year.

Darlene Love was that voice you heard on the original ‘Da Do Ron Ron’ and ‘He’s A Rebel’. She was the central voice for Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound. If you saw any of the ‘Lethal Weapon’ movies, you will know her as Danny Glover’s wife in all four movies.

Neil Diamond is a relative newcomer compared to Darlene Love. He has only been doing it for the past 45-years. Neil started out as a songwriter in the famed New York Brill Building in the mid-60s with fellow writers Carole King and Neil Sedaka before becoming a performer.

Likewise, Tom Waits was a successful songwriter well before his name was known for performing. His songs have been recorded by Bette Midler, The Eagles and Rod Stewart.

Alice Cooper invented rock and roll theatre. He got his start with thanks to Frank Zappa in the late 60s.

Dr John is another artist who has been doing it since the 60s. The New Orleans legend will also be inducted for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

  4. Dancing Heals - You Will Never Be Younger Than You Are Now

Dancing Heals, absolutely. I am firm believer it is the best exercise and enjoy showing off my moves every once in a while. And whilst you may not be able to shake your limbs around energetically with Melburnian band Dancing Heals’, latest album, “You Will Never Be Younger Than You Are Now” (quite a statement, huh?), there is still a nice swaying that can accompany the soothing and mellow sounding tracks.
