Mark Ronson Gets Megastar Guests For His New Album

Super-producer Mark Ronson brings in super-star guests for his third album.

Best known for providing the soul sounds of Amy Winehouse's album, Ronson became the hot producer for many.

His first album Here Comes The Fuzz bombed, but his post-Winehouse covers album Version turned him into an artist in his own right.

His new album Record Collection is under the moniker of Mark Ronson and The Business Intl., featuring all original songs, an amazing list of collaborators, and his debut as a vocalist.

Let's list some of The Business Intl.: pop stars Simon LeBon and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran, Boy George, Cathy Dennis and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters, rappers Q-Tip, Wiley and Ghostface Killah, indie rock champs Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs, Johnathon Peirce of The Drums, ex-Pipette Rose Elinor Dougall and Dave McCabe of The Zutons, soul singer D'Angelo and the London Gay Men's Choir.

The album was recorded in Brooklyn and the first single 'Bang Bang Bang' (featuring Q-Tip and Amanda Warner of New York electro duo MNDR) has been creating a stir on radio and the dancefloors.

The second single 'The Bike Song' (featuring Kyle Falconer of The View and rapper Spank Rock) will be released on September 19.

Record Collection will be launched on September 27 in the UK and October 5 in the US.

Something For Kate have completed their 6th studio album in Texas and return to Australia with the recording in their hot little hands to be released on Friday September 28th.
