Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor of Michael Jackson, is expected to be charged with involuntary manslaughter any day now.
Dr Conrad Murray has arrived in Los Angeles from his office in Houston and his spokeswoman said he will surrender to authorities within the next 48 hours.If Dr Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter or even the more severe charge of 'implied malice murder', a judge will then decide if he should go on trial.
Michael Jackson died aged 50 on June 25th last year and his death was ruled as homicide, mostly caused by an anaesthetic.
Dr Murray was Jackson's personal physician and has stated that on the night he died, he found Jackson in his room.
He said the star had a faint pulse, was not breathing and failed to respond to CPR.
Los Angeles County Coroner concluded that Jackson's death was caused by the combination of drugs in his body, reported to be propofol, lorazepam and midazolam.
Police and federal officials searched Dr Murray’s office looking for evidence. They said they searched for items that 'they believe constituted evidence of the offence of manslaughter'.
Dr Murray has always maintained that he did not prescribe nor administer anything that should have killed Jackson.
