Sydney indie-dance crossover outfit RÜFÜS have been making waves locally and internationally with their electronic dance floor driven pop melodies. The independent release of their EP saw an organic groundswell building amongst the blogosphere, with their tracks ‘Paris Collides’ and ‘We Left’ reaching number eight and 13 on the Hype Machine charts, while at home ‘Paris Collides’ made it to number one on the Triple J Unearthed dance charts. Their impressive aural live show has seen them gathering a cult following. RÜFÜS have immersed themselves in the DIY aesthetic that Australian electronic bands are famous for. They’ve supported Royksopp, played a string of festivals including the Sydney Big Day Out, Parklife, Homebake, Field Day and Harbour Party, and they recently completed their first headline tour celebrating the release of their first single, ‘This Summer’, from their sophomore EP, with sold out crowds in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle.
