Spencer is more widely know as a founding member / guitarist with The Beasts Of Bourbon. He has also worked as guitarist sideman to Paul Kelly, Lydia Lunch, Andre Williams, Jeffrey Lee Pierce's Gun Club, The Saints' Chris Bailey, The Legendary Stardust Cowboy, Shotgun Rationale, Renee Geyer, The Sailors, The Violent Femmes and many others, not to mention his own solo-project bands, Spencer P. Jones & The Escape Committee, Cow Penalty and Spencer P. Jones & The Last Gasp. 2003 saw the release of the highly acclaimed album, "Fait Accompli", 2006 "Immolation and Ameliorations" and last year's standout "Fugitive Songs" released via Spooky Records in Australia, and BANG! Records in Spain. In Spencer’s solo sets, which he recently has been playing in tandem with his old band mate from the Beasts of Bourbon, Kim Salmon – you can expect to hear some tunes from Spencer’s amazing backlog.
