‘Call The Cops’, put simply, is a group of friends throwing two wild parties in Sydney and Melbourne the weekend before their bender continues at Splendour in the Grass where all three acts are playing. Yacht Club DJs, DZ Deathrays and Bleeding Knees Club will come together to cause a raucous at this show. Over the past few years the duo that is Australia’s premier mash-up act Yacht Club DJs have appeared at many festivals, with their third and most recent mixtap, ‘They Mostly Come At Night… Mostly’ catapulting them into their biggest sold-out national tour yet. Joining them are DZ Deathrays, who recently released their debut album ‘Bloodstreams’ and have enjoyed much critical acclaim around the world with music advocators such as NME, Rolling Stone and others naming them as a band to watch, and they were also selected to support the Foo Fighters in Australia. Wrapping up the three-way headliner will be the fresh faced surf-punk duo Bleeding Knees Club, who recently released their sun-soaked debut album ‘Nothing To Do’.
