Ignoring George Lucas' continued attempts at ruining the immortality of his greatest achievement, sci-fi fans and Star Wars nuts from all walks of life publicly celebrate their love for one of the greatest stories ever told. It may be a silly pun, but chances are that more than one person you know will be chanting “MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU” on that day. To maximise the festivities, BOWCASTER (Melbourne's only Star Wars-themed rock band) will perform at The Tote, one of Melbourne's most important rock establishments. BOWCASTER have forged a reputation in Melbourne as a relentless and powerful noise rock band. BOWCASTER's skills are now complete, having recently finished recording their debut album, the band will be performing new material and old faves in BOWCASTER's first headline show since September 2011.
